About Us.

Hi, we're the Eastmonds. Rob, Amy, James, Elli, Emma, and Jake. We love to work together, play together, and just be family together. We are beginning a new adventure. We are moving from the city life to the country life, and are anxious to share our experiences along the way. We will be learning how to be more self sufficient through gardening efforts, raising animals, and trying new energy sources while becoming more green. We love our world, and want to be able to use it better and safer as it has been given to us from our Heavenly Father. We are very blessed because of our beliefs in our savior Jesus Christ. We hope you enjoy our blog, and hope to hear from you again!

24th Of July-Pioneer Day 2010

Mapleton always has a 24th of July parade. All the primary kids got to ride in a float or on bikes/scooters. It was lots of fun!
After the parade, everyone gathers at the city park for a bunch of carnival games and blow up toys for kids.
They have teen games too.
Jake on the obstacle course.
Emma finishing the course.

After the park, we got ready for our annual party with family and friends. It started at the park behind our house where a helicopter dropped balls and was giving away bikes. Then we had a BBQ and watched the amazing fireworks show right in our back yard! It was such a blast! A fun tradition!

This beautiful coo coo clock was a gift from Frederik's parents. It made me cry.
